Coral is both a visual and interactive archive of a project as well as a means for facilitating conversation and feedback among interdisciplinary teams. It serves as a home base for keeping up to date on project goals, conversations, and resources.

Below are two videos we made during the beginning few weeks of this project. We knew or goal was to promote holistic interdisciplinary collaboration, but we needed to know more about our audience. We brought in a handful of engineers and designers and had them talk us through their experiences working in interdisciplinary teams. After we digested their insight, we created a narrative that solidified our goals to ourselves and to others.
Our biggest question to kick start this project was to understand how current multidisciplinary teams collaborate and what tools they use. We discovered many, but tried our best to distill the main issues into six categories.
This project would not have been possible without the help of Paul Kim, Joe Oak, and Laura Tjho.
